“Scotch Pine delicious but Douglas Fir give me heartburn. (burps) Excuse me.”
It sure is nice to see this again. This was one of my favorite specials during the holiday season.
God i remember when i was a kid I was a little scared of these guys…hahaha
“Scotch bind delicious, but Douglas Fir give me heartburn”.Ouch. Not a pleasant combination.
If you ask me, I think Cookie Monster was just “”pine”-ing” away at the Tannenbaum.
I believe he refused to eat the branch part of the tree, to avoid the risk of getting heartburn. The pine was delicious to him, but he doesn’t eat the branch.
Thank you very much for posting this. I used to have this on VHS, like an official release for it, but my parents gave it away :,(. But luckily I was able to see it this Christmas thanks to you!
I saw this on DVD recently. You’re in the ‘States, I see… I saw it here in Canada, at Zellers. (Like, a Canadian Target.)I picked it up for myself. c: Though I am sure it could be found online somewhere. It shouldalso be rather inexpensive.Hope I was able to help any.
Thank you so much for uploading this part of my (and many others’) childhoods.
I have this recorded, but my VCR is broken, so I turned to YouTube for help to watch it this year!
I traditionally watch this movie every year for Christmas, but this is my first year watching it on Youtube. Thank you FebWriter for posting it. That very last scene makes me laugh everytime. Cookie Monster will eat anything, even if it’s not edible! One time I I had a dream he did that to MY tree!
