Christmas Wine I Always Thought Mulled Wine Is Called Malt Wine. Well In German It Is Gluehwine.?

I always thought mulled wine is called malt wine. Well in German it is Gluehwine.

    In Germany the spiced hot red wine you get at the Christmas market is called “Glühwein”, which literally means glowing wine because it’s served hot.

    I always understood mulled wine to be spiced wine that has been heated up – usually by plunging a red hot iron into it.
