Halloween Party.. Suprise Or Not?

ok my two kids and i are gona have a small halloween party, but I cant decide if I want them to hide in there room while I decorate and make it a spooky suprise? or let them help me set up? they could help fill chip bowls blow bolloons, setting up the plates and napkins ect. which would be better the suprise or letting them help me set up? please help?
i believe that the surprise would be a lot better because it’s always fun to scare your kids from time to time because one day they will scare you so you might as well scare them while you can before it’s too late.
Tell your kids that you have to do something like go to store, work, and then send them to go somewhere with their dad or granparents to shop for something or if they refuse to leave give them some money to pick up a candy bar at the store or a small toy at the store. And then you should do it yourself so it’ll be a surprize. Because the best thing is to suprize the kids.
Well, when I was a kid, my parents had a halloween party for my second grade class, and they held it at my grandparents house, so my they set it up before I got there, and it was soo much fun being surprised at how great everthing looked, they did the decorating, and THEN let me help with things like the chip/punch bowls and everything, that way I was surprised, and still got to help :]
Tell them “no, kids, it’s too much hassle” then send them elsewhere (park or something with someone/dad/granny?) or even just to their room.
Get the party prepared then when they come in, the look on their little faces with be priceless.
They’ll love it, it will be a blast
Take lots of pictures to show them
i think that u should let it b a surprise. but instead of havin them hide in there room, c if ur parents can watch them until ur done. that way, they will have no way of peeking!!!! have fun. i hope t works.!!!!!!
