I Need Ideas For Decorating A Christmas Tree?

I work at a hospital and we are having a contest for each floor to decorate a christmas tree. I need a idea, but I want it to be decorated with a ‘medical theme’……any funny ideas? (I work on a heart floor, but anything medical would be good)
You should base it around hearts and have things like:
hearts (duh)
little ornaments or other shaped like medical items (stethoscopes etc)
other things mentioned by the people above me!
Go to craft stores and buy craft items to make your own ornaments.
You can search on Google for craft ideas and stuff – there are sooo many. Good Luck and Merry early Christmas!
It probably sounds lame but I would use a green tree, red hearts and lots of baby’s breath for an accent. Make a tree topper from things around the office. Wrap the plastic tubing used for IV’s to make a star or cross and tie with a rubber band thingy that you put on an arm for blood work. Maybe tie some of the rubber bands into bows also. Use white lights so your hearts stand out.
try items from your supplies like string gloves together to make a wrap around it also use cotton swabs to hang off the tree & those tonsil sticks decorate with glitter & hang them on the tree like ornaments.
Use themes from like around the office!! Put qtips or cotton swabs on. String together plastic gloves and maybe use old stethoscopes. You could possibly put band-aids on it, casts, and make candy canes in to little like crosses.

still early but use a white tree with all blue or all red ornaments….they look gorgeous!!
