Neighbor Still Has Mccain/palin Signs In Yard, Now With Christmas Lights Around Signs. What Do You Think?

They cling to their guns and religion too. Should I say something? Or just keep putting up with all their signs that have become an eyesore to the neighborhood?
I don’t know where you live, but where I live there IS a local ordinance regarding the time limit that a political sign may be left up. In my city that time has LONG past. Check your local law and if your neighbor is breaking it, feel free to report him. After all, that IS why we have laws.
That person’s signs show he is committed to a candidate far beyond whether they win or lose and election. I’m not sure that Christmas lights suggest a religion, other than Santa Clausism, unless it’s a religious theme to the lights, so, I think the lights, religious or not, are appropriate for the times. It would be best if they were around a Christian scene, but, one can only hope. But you can be sure he’s more politically committed than you are. He won’t quit, even though he has lost the election. His commitments go way deep into his very being. That’s a very honorable characteristic. God Bless you.
There is no law that says the political signs need to be removed once the election is over. It is their property, they have the right to support whomever they choose even after the winner has been named. Although, I find it unusual, you really do not have any grounds on which to complain.
I keep it up because you tick me off… Remember I have my Bible and guns that I cling to also. Feel free to come over if you wish or dare.

They have a right to have non-offensive signs and Christmas lights in their front yard, and you have a right to have plastic pink flamingos in yours.
Would you complain if it was an Obama/Biden sign lit with a spotlight?

I’m pretty sure they’ll keep the sign up for the next 4 years AND they’ll add the next repub candidate sign to it and keep it there for the 4 years after that when he (or she… we never know) loses to Obama.
I’m clinging to my guns and religion now that the liberals are in control. BTW we still have free speech don’t we or is that one of mao obama’s changes.
There was a recent case finding this to be political speech protected by the first amendment.
Personally, I find it to be curious holiday decor, but it IS their property.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about it. If it’s really bothering you, you can go to war and put up an Obama/Biden sign.
I think you should mind your own business – who are you to tell them what they can and cannot have in their own yard, hope this helps.
