Where Can I Find A Confederate Corporal Uniform For Halloween?

The Civil War is my favorite history topic and so is W.W.I. But, I want to dress up as a Confederate corporal for halloween. I want to pretend that I was in battle, and my left arm had to be amputated. Where can I find that uniform?

They do re-enactments of the battles in several of the southern states. I know they do them in Newmarket, VA. Try calling the Chamber of Commerce there and see if they can give you any leads. Also, Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va may have some ideas.

Do an internet search via Yahoo or Google.

Check with local costume shops. If your town has Civil War reanactors, the local Chamber will know or the historical society. In order to facilitate an amputated arm, the jacket should be big enough to have your arm inside. Costumer could could help you with that. “Save your Confedrate money boys, the South will rise again!”
